OTM Laser Triangulation Meters

A Laser Triangulation & CCD array technique with digital signal processing.

ODS Laser Triangulation Meters are for precise measurement of distance and product thickness. Measurement is by triangulation principal. A focused laser spot is illuminated on the object and the image position by a CCD array, enabling calculation of the objects distance. Compact unit with integrated optics and signal processor. Easy to install via LEDs indicating when object at centre or outside measuring range. Additionally, the visible laser beam identifies alignment.

LTMs provided with installation disc for connection via standard IBM PC and display of measured values. Measurement data provided via RS232 and analogue outputs. Also available as programmable versions.

These LTMs have a broad range of usage and well suited for measurement off surfaces where other devices fail. Ideal for measuring off wood, plastic, rubber, paper, foam, textiles, food product, most metals and various liquids.

When connected together they can automatically provide thickness or width.
