Series 370 Pulse Induction Detector

Detection of metal regardless of material wetness

The Series 370 Metal Detectors operate using a single profiled Coil mounted below the belt generating a pulsed flux and monitoring its rate of collapse when metal contaminate in the material passes overhead.

This provides high sensitivity to the contaminate regardless of the bulk material's nature or changes in water content.

The Detector Coil and framework are constructed from thick Polypropylene panels constructed and supported to match the conveyor belt profile. The coil is usually mounted beneath the line, but where the Detector coil needs to be mounted above the line, then a mounting platform is provided with multiple spacer pillars to accommodate material height.

Changes in ambient temperature or wetness of the bulk material do not influence the detector's operating range.
