TThe Series 2000 Long Range Inductive Proximity Sensors are designed for Tracking the position of bar, pipe, tube or structural shapes in a rolling mill or process line.
Built specifically for installation in the harshest of industrial environments, rated to IP66 with the housing constructed from Marine-Grade Glass Fibre or ABS enclosure, these sensors can be mounted in the floor-pan of the roller tables and other conveyor systems.
These Series 2000 Sensors have detection ranges of between 40mm to 200mm, and are available in a range of lengths from 300mm to 1200mm enabling straightforward and practical detection of metal products anywhere on the line depending on the products size and shape.
The Flat Pack Series 2400, 2500 and 2600 allows the user to specify the required length of detector to suit the roller bed width,whilst remote controllers facilitate safe access.
The mounting options for the Series 2000 Proximity Sensors include; Non-flush, Semi-flush and Flush mounting. The combination of large sensing distances with base mounting onto or embedded in steel surrounds with either a base-plate or using centre bolts allows the Series 2000 Long Range Inductive Proximity Sensors to be installed with complete physical protection and easily replace existing Photo-cells or other sensors.
The Series 2000 Inductive Proximity Sensors are available in both AC and DC formats for direct feedback to PC systems, while at the same time capable of switching contactors or relays.
