ESD1K.003 LDM Peltier Cooled Secondary Laser Enclosure
Environmental Potection Enclosure
The ESD1K.003 Peltier Cooled Secondary Laser Enclosure is designed for use with the MDHD range of Laser Distance Meters to provide both mechanical and cooling protection in extreme environments where ambient temperatures can reach 75°C.
Its heavy duty construction and durable design combined with Peltier cooling ensures that the laser device inside is fully protected. The Peltier cooling is thermostatically controlled and is pre-set so that when the ESD1K.003 Secondary Environmental Enclosure’s internal temperature reaches 35°C the cooler automatically cuts in. Furthermore, should the internal temperature reach 55°C, an over-temperature contact switches to initiate an over-temperature remote alarm.
The ESD1K.003 Secondary Environmental Enclosure’s mounting platform is adjustable both vertically and horizontally by 20° for alignment of the enclosed LDM making it an ideal enclosure for the steel plant where molten metal ladles are present or exposed to high ambient such in dockside areas.
